- Calling
all paddlers! If you haven't been back to training
since the excitement of the Nationals, now is
the time to flex those paddling muscles before
they fade into obscurity. Training on Cullen Bay
is back on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with
an excursion to the open waters of Darwin harbour
on Sunday mornings. How could you resist?

- We
put up a strong showing at the Australian Dragon
Boat Championships in Adelaide. Many thanks to
our supporters Darwin Airport Resort, OneSteel
and BDO, who helped us get there and match it
with the best in the country. We didn't get any
medals, but we were competitive and made it into
most grand finals in our chosen events. We'll
be back in 2011 with even more determination.

a lion dance by the Chung Wah Society, with much
drumming and the odd cracker.

- It's
official (again). ADPC is one of the top 10 dragonboat
clubs in the world in our chosen events. We finished
a stellar 7th and 8th in the World Club Crew Championships
for the 500m and 200m respectively. More
