New
to the sport? Try it out ! We offer 3 complimentary trial
sessions.
Dragonboating
is a fun team sport with a competitive edge. It's a great
way to keep fit and offers a low-impact yet strenuous workout.
There's a lot of technique involved, so the size of your muscles
isn't all that counts. It's one of the few truly team sports
where there are no individual stars (or flops!) and everyone
has to work together all of the time.
ADPC
provides a comprehensive introduction to dragonboating, including
equipment, qualified coaching and instructional DVDs.
New paddlers are welcome
to attend Monday training sessions. These focus on the safety
aspect, rules and technical skills of dragon boating, in a
fun and friendly environment.
COME AND TRY MONDAY
AFTERNOONS FROM 5.30PM.
Join us at "the cage",
under the Crooze Restaurant at Cullen Bay, opposite the ferry
terminal. There's a walkway on the left hand side of Crooze
- go through it and go down the stairs to the right. The cage
is at the end of the walkway.
Bring a water bottle,
sunscreen and hat, and be prepared to get wet! Need more info?
